During the Spring term the local constabulary visited the school to promote the various ways they assist the community. These photos were all taken during the 1980 Spring term and are from the collection of Ann Burdett.
Here a full assembly is gathered to show someone wearing a police diver frogmans costume and equipment.
The person wearing the suit is teacher Peter Rayers
In the following pictures a police dog handler perfoms a display. Peter Rayers is seen with a crowd of third and fourth year pupils.
These final three pictures show different clothing and equipment used by the police.
