Halloween Party Afternoon For Year 4 – October 1979

These pictures were all taken in October 1979 during a Halloween party held in the classrooms of Ann Burdett & Pete Rayers.

Games were played such as retrieving chocolate from flour and biting into apples covered in chocolate and buckets of water. Everyone wore their swimming hats whilst taking part as well as wearing smocks used for painting.

Clearly featured in this picture are Karen Freeman, Sharon Coles, Darren Downing and Graham Preston in the background. Overlooking Karen and Sharon is Michelle Hammond. At the opposite end of the table is Paul Langton with the cream jumper, Alison Wadsley and Nathan Vesty leaning over.

Teacher Ann Burdett without glasses! I can clearly remember her doing this, everyone was shocked at seeing her without her glasses and the speed at which she went gung-ho into the flour.
